Free fertility treatment for a second child in cooperation with the Danish Regions

The government and Danish Regions have reached an agreement that, starting from December 1st, 2024, provides single individuals and couples with free fertility treatment for a second child.

Aagaard Fertility Clinic is part of this agreement, and your region will refer you to us if they do not have the capacity to offer treatment themselves. Aagaard Fertility Clinic is affiliated with the North Jutland and Central Jutland Regions.

Please note that you must have a Danish CPR number to be eligible for this program through the public sector. Additionally, to qualify for assistance with a second child under this agreement, the woman must have been referred for fertility treatment to the public sector before turning 40.
At Aagaard, you can still access fertility treatment as a private patient. In Denmark, private clinics are permitted to provide fertility treatment to women until they turn 46 years old. There is no age limit for men.
